CUT GLASS THUMBPRINT FONT KEROSENE BANQUET STAND LAMP, deep emerald green compressed globular-form peg font with thumbprints, cast brass stem with bronze finish and a stylized diamond and scroll pattern, deep embossed foliage patterned tri-form foot, brass connector. Fitted with a period setup comprising a period No. 2 duplex burner, deep emerald green and frosted ball-form Sherwood shade with acid-etched stylized pinwheel and floral pattern, lower body marked "Sherwood Birmingham". Non-period colorless chimney. Late 19th century. 30" H to top of shade, 25 3/4" H to top of collar, 6" DOA foot. Shade 6 3/4" H, 3 3/4" D fitter.

Good overall condition, underside of base with a drilled hole, font exterior undamaged and interior not examined, base and collar with scattered corrosion. Burner frozen to collar, deflector with light denting, burner and shade ring each with corrosion. shade undamaged, chimney rims with normal as-made roughness.
