Description
A fine antique Austrian silver teapot. The upper rim is decorated with a repetitive palmette pattern. The slightly curved handle and the fretel gate are made of natural materials. Hallmarked with the Austrian silver Dianakopf mark depicting the head of Diana goddess facing right and the makers mark: JCK for Josef Carl Klinksoch. Josef Carl Klinkosch, 1822 to 1888, was a highly skilled Viennese silversmith, who flourished in 19th Century Europe. Apprenticed to his father Carl 1835 to 1839, certified 1844, the family business produced fine silverware and jewelry. Silverware, Tableware And Serveware Antiques For Home Decor.
