"The Unicorn in Captivity" is the famous final panel of seven monumental tapestries (each measuring 12 feet tall and up to 14 feet wide). The seven tapestries follow noblemen with a team of huntsmen and hounds pursuing a unicorn through a forest. The unicorn is found, slain, carried to a castle; and, in this final panel, the unicorn is depicted as resurrected and resting in a garden within a circular fence. (Ref. 9)
