Item Details
Description
Native American, Southeastern United States, Cherokee, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A hand-carved wooden scoop of sizable form used for measuring and distributing large quantities of grain. The sturdy handle has a knob-shaped end while the scoop body is broad and deep with a slight beveled edge on the front lip. Size: 16.7" L x 5.75" W x 2.6" H (42.4 cm x 14.6 cm x 6.6 cm)
