" The log is nicely written and is illustrated with numerous whale kills as well as black fish. The back section of the journal reads "So ends one year". After which, Walter Green sailed on a voyage to the Pacific on the brig Starlight, 1867, a daily diary. The Lancer took 1615 bbls of sperm oil and 47 bbls of whale oil. The log book is in good overall condition, showing normal wear. The leather spine shows losses and some splitting. The marbleized boards show scuffing.
