Description
Civil War Florida Solider's Tin Drum Canteen. This canteen belonged to Sergeant. James Williamson Archer, Colonel of the 11th Florida Infantry. The canteen was painted blue and decorated with sword, rifle, Confederate Battle Flag, and flowers. Measures approx. 6 1/4" diameter. The Larry Mangus Collection, Corinth, Mississippi. Condition- Canteen has dents, paint loss, and some light surface rust. Back of canteen has lost most of paint. See photos.
