Mort Kunstler "Battle of Fredericksburg" Limited Edition Companion Prints. (1) "Courage In Blue: Chamberlain at Fredericksburg, Dec. 13." Print depicts a Federal assault by the 20th Maine Infantry, including Lieutenant Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. The attack would fail to break Confederate lines but would display the courage of the Union troops. Signed, dated (2002), and numbered 537/950. The image size measures 14 3/4" X 23". Frame measures 23 1/2" X 31 3/4". (1) "Valor in Gray: Kershaw's Brigade at Fredericksburg, Dec. 13, 1862." Print depicts Brigadier General Joseph B. Kershaw brigade holding the line at the Sunken Road during the Battle of Fredericksburg. This battle would herald as one of the South's greatest victories and would be celebrated "as a triumph of valor in gray." Signed, dated (2002), and numbered 678/950. The image size measures 14 3/4" X 23". Frame measures 23 1/2" X 31 3/4". Both prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity. The Larry Mangus collection, Corinth, Mississippi. Condition- Both prints and frames are in good condition. Frames are very similar but do not match. See photos.
