Oscar Arcila (born 1928). An original oil painting on canvas. Titled, "Grand Colombian Merchant Fleet Critics," produced circa 1960. A figural work depicting abstract female nun figures wearing bowler style hats observing toy boats in a tub of water. Painted in the Boterismo style influenced by contemporary Colombian artist Fernando Botero (born 1932). Artist signature to lower right. Hand written Spanish language title and work information to stretcher verso. Presented in a decorative gallery frame. PROVENANCE: From a private art collection.
