Description
Francisco Goya y Lucientes (Spanish, 1746-1828). A rare 18th Century antique aquatint etching on laid paper. Titled, "Linda Maestra" ("Pretty Teacher"), produced circa 1799 as plate 68 of the "Los Caprichos" suite. A figural work depicting a pair of figures, possibly a witch and demon, riding through the air on a broom, with owl and other forms. Titled to bottom with artist name to lower left and printer name to lower right. Embossed gallery stamp to lower right. Presented under glass with a white mat border in a decorative gallery frame. PROVENANCE: From a private art collection.

Dimensions: 29 X 24 X .5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear and aged paper toning. Frame having mild to moderate storage wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
