A Neoclassical estate lot featuring two (2) French antique bronze figural lamps. Includes: one (1) large sculptural work with three scrolling foliate light sockets, teardrop lamp crystals, and a central Neoclassical style female figure, inspired by the Greek myth of Pygmalion, who carved an ivory statue, "Galatea," which came to life, with foliate and floral forms, and surmounting a scrolling base with stepped plinth having title plate to front stamped GALATEA, with no apparent signature or foundry mark; and one (1) French figural group bronze after Ernest Henri Roncoulet (circa 1842-1915), with three foliate form light sockets, Swarovski style crystal light baskets, and depicting Neoclassical style female figures, Olympians or Graces, one wearing a crown, standing on a landscape base, surrounded by foliate and floral forms, and surmounting a stepped plinth having French language title plate to front stamped LA FECONDITE DE LA TERRE PAR L'ONDE ("THE FERTILITY OF THE EARTH BY THE WAVE") PAR RANCOULET (SCULPT.) ("BY RONCOULET"). Both lamps having vintage to antique electrical cords and plugs with on and off switches. Larger measures approximately 36" x 20" x 16".

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear, with evidence of patina. One crystal basket on figural group lamp has loose strand. Both lamps in working condition. Estate fresh to the market.
