by George Unite & Sons, Birmingham 1879, rounded rectangular form, decorated in the Aesthetic taste with engraved scenes of birds, sun, plants and flowers, Middlesex Yeomanry Cavalry presentation inscription to the interior. 9cm by 5.5cm, 2.2 troy ounces

The marks are clear. The engraving is crisp. The hinge is in good condition, and the cover closes sharply with a well-working push button. A couple of small dints but generally in good condition.
