A small spout, positioned prominently, is flanked by two arched handles that add aesthetic appeal and allow the ampulla to be conveniently hung or carried. The body of the ampulla is adorned with an intricate relief decoration consisting of raised roundels arranged in a radial pattern, creating a visually captivating and ornamental effect. An ampulla in the Roman context refers to a small, globular vessel, often utilized for storing and transporting various substances, particularly liquids such as oils or perfumes.
