Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Douqing Carved Porcelain Vase. Potted in amphora shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, emerging archaic dragon flanked cylindrical neck with round mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base slight concave. The body of the bottle is entirely covered in simple and pure Douqing glaze. The Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Masterfully covered in an even coat of a pale green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze.The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
