Chinese Qing Dynasty GuangXu Famille Rose Dragon Porcelain Plate. The plate has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in turquoise base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of five claws imperial dragon soaring amidst flames, vapors, chasing blazing pearl amidst scrolling cumulus clouds, with face toward the heavens. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful white under glaze. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within flori form medallion. Made in The Years GuangXu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
