Description
DESCRIPTION: Antique porcelain Baragon Tumed vase part of a set commissioned to celebrate the marriage of the Daoguang Emperor's daughter to a Mongolian prince in 1842. Piece is decorated with auspicious figures against leaf panels, the eight Buddhist emblems, Shou crests, and auspicious motifs such as lotuses and taotie masks against a white background. Marked on underside with contemporary Imperial Qing mark.
