GREINER AND UNMARKED PAPIER-MACHE HEAD LADY DOLLS, LOT OF TWO, each with shoulder plate, paint decorated facial features, and jointed cloth body, comprising a Greiner’s example, back shoulder plate with original label “GREINER’S / PATENT DOLL HEADS. / NO. 8 / Pat. Mar. 30, '58. Ext. 72”, blonde molded wavy hair, later earrings, and kid leather arms; and a Greiner-type example with blonde curly molded hair, and kid leather hands with sewn fingers. Each fitted in mostly vintage attire. Second half 19th century. 22" and 24" H.

Labeled example with several tiny flakes to face and some light cracking/crazing; other example with some typical wear.
