ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU AND OTHER GILT-METAL BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF EIGHT, each two-part form having gilt-brass or gilt-metal frame with one or more glass stones / rhinestones, featuring Art Nouveau and other designs, including one buckle with covered vase center having three faceted green glass stones, presented on a black ribbon belt/sash. Unmarked. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Rectangular-form buckle 3 1/2" x 2" OA.

Condition
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to gilt finishes, one or a few spots/areas of oxidation, slight bending notably to bars on backs, and/or possibly one or a few repairs; buckle on belt/sash having two glass stones each with a chip to one edge, one half having moderate bend to bottom edge; buckle with red rhinestone having possible solder repairs or as-made poorly done soldering to back; buckle with green cabochon having damage to rhinestone; buckle with rectangular-cut amber rhinestone lacking one tiny colorless rhinestone.
