Description
A finely executed Minton gilt porcelain Pate-Sur-Pate vase by Louis Solon, dated 1897. Lovely hand tooled white slip on a peacock blue ground depicting a robed figure jumping across mountains. A large series of seagulls in the background. Signed "L. Solon" into the white lip to the lower edge. Gilt Crowned Minton mark, an impressed Minton mark, date cypher for 1897, and impressed shape number 2443 to the underside of the base.

Condition
In excellent original condition. With no chips, cracks, or restoration. Please note that there are several darkened green areas which are firing flaws at the time of manufacture, a flaw in the firing of the slip. This vase has been black-lit and inspected by a porcelain specialist that confirms it is in it's original condition.
