Civil War Style Metal Canteens/Flask. (1) Civil War metal reunion canteen in leather case. Leather case is marked, "We drank from the same canteen, 1881-1865." The rest of the markings are indecipherable. Top of canteen is marked, "Hall & Breckenridge, Meriden, Conn." Measures approx. 4 1/2" X 5". (1) Civil War era medical canteen with spigot and cap. Owner's tag reads, "Civil War Medical Canteen From Antietam Museum From Battlefield Hospital." Measures approx. 7 1/2" high. (1) Civil War style medical flask. Owner's tag reads, "Civil War Medical Flask Chloroform, Spirts, Medicine." Measures approx. 4 3/4" high. (1) Civil War style canteen. Owner's tag reads, "Confederate Canteen, Chancellorsville Dug." Measures approx. 9" diameter. We could not authenticate these canteens. Sold as is. The Larry Mangus Collection, Corinth, Mississippi. Condition- Reunion canteen's leather case is very worn. Canteen with spigot and cap has surface rust, dents, etc. The large canteen is in dug condition. See photos.
