Earth-Mined Diamond Brooch.  You can't help but love this turtle brooch!  Cast from 14 karat yellow gold, this circa early1970's, three dimensional brooch is not just beautiful, but an excellent example of vintage American craftsmanship.  The shell of the figural turtle is adorned with approximately .50 carats of round, brilliant-cut, near-colorless, SI clarity diamonds and the head, legs, feet, and tail have a florentine finish on the gold. The turtle brooch is approximately 1.25" in diameter and has a locking safety catch.  The pin of the catch appears to be stainless steel to better support the brooch.  This is a preowned, estate item in excellent condition.
