DESCRIPTION: Gold and black Chinese silk partial bolt. Likely late Qing dynasty. PROVENANCE: George Henne November 1866 - June 2, 1938. By inheritance to J. Fuller, Pennsylvania. Jade and related Chinese antiques imported by George Henne, Sole Proprietor, 311 East 23rd Street, New York, NY approximately from 1900 to 1935. Some use in lockets and boxes for small valuables. MEASUREMENT: Bolt: 26-1/2" long. Rolled out: 106" long. CONDITION: Fraying and tearing consistent with age. MEG
