BODENSCHATZ KARL: (1890-1979) German General der Flieger who served as the adjutant to Manfred von Richthofen during World War I and the liaison officer between Hermann Goring and Adolf Hitler during World War II. Signed 3.5 x 5.5 photograph of Bodenschatz in a profile head and shoulders pose wearing his uniform. Signed ('Bodenschatz') in fountain pen ink to a largely dark area at the base of the image and also signed ('Karl Bodenschatz') and inscribed in blue ink to the verso, also adding his rank and the date, April 1962, in his hand beneath his signature. Together with three A.Ls.S., Karl Bodenschatz (2) and Bodenschatz, four pages (total), 4to, Erlangen, 1958-69, to various correspondents, all in German, stating, in part, 'The book ''Pursuit in Flanders' Sky'' was banned in 1945. I will try to buy a copy privately. Zenetti finished up as a General of A A Artillery, and Commander in Air Zone VII at Munich. Zenetti was basically a gunner, and came from the 10th Royal Bavarian Field Artillery Regt. at Erlangen' and listing various individuals he knows, or who have died, including Colonel-General Lorzer, General Koller and Colonel-General Lohr, and remarking that he knows nothing of the fate of Bohle (2nd February 1958), 'I regret that, on this occasion, I cannot be of assistance to you.
