German Luftwaffe 1st Model Dagger. This is a rarely encountered miniature version of a German first model dagger complete with its original cardboard box. Hilt & blade are nickel plated. The grip is painted blue. The portappe appears to be real silver wire & shows some age tarnishing. The blade is marked "Germany." The scabbard is real Moroccan pebbled leather just like the full sized version. The storage /shipping box has a white textured lid with gold highlights and a brown cardboard bottom secured at each corner with staples. The miniature dagger rests upon a red flocked strip of cardboard and is secured by an elastic thread. Box Size 9 x 2.5 inch
