Pair of George III Inlaid Cutlery Boxes
late 18th century, mahogany veneer with light and dark wood inlays, hinged shaped lid with conch shell oval inlaid panel, barber pole and banded inlaid border, interior of lid with nautical star and barber pole inlay, fitted compartments with barber pole inlaid surrounds, the case with silver fittings, repeating banded and barber pole inlays, raised on three silver tone metal scrolled feet.
