Historic original 1940s Cleveland "Black Hawk" African American Motorcycle Club named uniform and more. The Cleveland Black Hawks were one of the very few African American motorcycle clubs in the United States during the 1940s. Their uniforms were based off the DC Comic hero Blackhawk. This historic uniform features the original ike style wool jacket, original wool hat, and riding trousers. Jacket features chain stitched lettering and original felt Black Hawk club patch onshoulder. Hat features an original felt Black Hawk club patch. Trousers do have moth holes, damage, and wear from use and age. Jacket is in overall good condition with some discoloration and wear from use and age. Hat has some split seems werethe patch is attached , damage to inner liner, and other wear from use and age. Jacket is named to "T.S" or Thomas S. Williams on the front. Lot includes Thomas Williams original Black Hawk Motorcycle Club ID card and a 1946 IndianMotorcycle News magazine which features the club and has a picture which includes Thomas S. Williams.
