A group of six framed silhouettes William Bache (1771-1845) and others, late 18th / early 19th century
(Dia: 3 3/4 in. (miniatures with round surrounds))
Including a pair, a lady and gentleman signed "Bache," in silvered frames; a second printed pair, a lady and gentleman, each inscribed, "VNT & S.M. 1795, 27 Pine St. N.Y." (drawn by Thomas Bluget De Valdenuit and printed by Charles B.J.F. Saint Memin); and the third pair, a lady and gentleman with inked highlights, framed together, a typed note on verso reads, "Born July 15,1786/ Ruth James/ Joshua Oaker/ Born June 23, 1780."
