Description
Fine Chinese jade carving depicting a boy holding a flower. Carved of a translucent pale green celadon with incised lines throughout. Minute spots of inclusions throughout.
Provenance: Private Minneapolis Collection - collected in China prior to 1985.
Height: 2 1/2 in x width: 1 1/4 in x depth: 3/4 in. Weight: 45.11 grams.

Condition
There is a small chip along the backside; the area is slightly rougher than the polished stone surrounding it. Very light wear throughout. There is some accretions along the underside of the feet.
