George III Style Upholstered Mahogany Tester Bed

Approximately 8 ft. 5 in. x 4 ft. 9 in. x 7 ft. 2 in.

Property from the Collection of Mrs. de la Renta

Condition

Lacking feet and casters with losses to the carving at the top section. Tester is broken in several sections and the fabric is soiled with losses to the fringe ends. Rails are darker and most likely later in date. Lacking slats, side rails and bolts. This bed will require some restoration in order to be sound.
