Description
A group of two Second World War Nazi German shields, including a WWII German Third Reich 1938 SA Gruppe Hochland shield which reads: SA Gruppen Wettkampfe Gruppe Hochland with the relief Fur Treue Dienste, on the lowest part of the shield. This was awarded to SA members for participation in rallies and other party events. And a 1938 Der Stahlhelm Wetthampsfieger Marksman Veterans Badge in black wool over nickel. The front reads: Der Stahlhelm Wetthampsfieger 1938. It shows a German helmet at the top with a pair of crossed rifles and an Iron Cross at the base. All of it is surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath, marked on verso with an LN maker mark about 1790 for L. Christian Lauer, Nurnberg.
