Description

This is a set of four vintage railroad related books. The first is an 1882 edition of Groffutts New Overland Tours-Railroad Edition. It is in nice condition with 275 pages, and this edition has a focus on the Pacific Coast. The second book is the Official Proceedings for the Western Railway Club for 1901-02. The club seemed to be a group of railroad enthusiasts who liked to talk and learn about railroad topics. The third book is The Pacific Tourist by Adams & Bishops, with an 1885 copyright date. It was endorsed by all of the Pacific railroads like the UP, CBQ, CRI&P, and others. It also promotes Western tourism. The fourth book is an Atlas of Traffic Maps, with a 1924 copyright date. It contains many fold out maps with a focus on railroad rate groups. All of the books are in good used condition, may have some tears/frays in pages or some binding issues, but will make a great addition to a railroad paper enthusiastâ€™s collection
