AGS CERTIFIED #10173. SSP. An incredibly scarce Porcelain Sign for Shell advertising Shellubrication with the slogan "The Modern Upkeep Service". Sign is mounted to its original Aro Model #45 Service Station Lubrication Hand Gun Rack. CONDITION: Sign is overall brilliant and outstanding showing excellent color & gloss throughout the field with only a minimal amount of light surface wear and minimal surface scratch. Sign shows excellent condition mounting holes with minimal wear along the upper edge, (Score 95). Sign is mounted to the original Aro Service Station Lubrication Gun Rack which shows all of the red metal being nicely repainted showing minimal wear and surface scratches. The rack shows four of its original signs as well as three of its original guns. A very rare and well displaying example of this Service Station Display from Shell. Condition: (AGS CERTIFIED SCORE 95). Dimensions: 38" x 27".
