A Pair of 17th-18th Century Chinese Canton Rose Famille Vases. Both vases depict the Chinese motif with Birds for Handles. Inside is painted roses wear of gilt gold on rim. These vases are from a famous collector and authority on Chinese Art, Leo Elwin. We believe them to be 17th to 18th Century. There is signs of restoration/repair on one of the vases. (see pics hairline crack). There is age and or wear to paint commensurate with age. The height of each vase is 21" the width is 8.5". Each Vase is 15.5 lbs. for total of 31 lbs.
