A collection of five Black Americana novels by Octavus Roy Cohen (1891-1951), all published during the 1920s. Four of the books show similar covers and have all been published by Dodd, Mead, and Company while the fifth is blue toned and published by Little, Brown, and Company. Titles include "Dark Days and Black Knights", "Assorted Chocolates", "Highly Colored", "Come Seven", and "Florian Slappey Goes Abroad". Some pieces noted with offensive, derogatory imagery. *note - wear from age and storage, pencil writing in some places
