MEISSEN KAKIEMON PATTERN PORCELAIN CUP AND SAUCER SETS, LOT OF TWO, lobed form with brown-painted rims, each featuring polychrome hand-painted floral sprays and pomegranate decorations with gilt accents. Marks to underside include underglaze blue kite's tail or caduceus mark to saucers and crossed swords-style mark to cups. Probably Royal Porcelain Manufactory, Meissen, Germany; or other. Mid 18th century. 2 1/2" HOA.

Condition
Cups undamaged; one saucer having minute rim flake and remaining with rim hairline. Manufacturing flaw including one cup with firing separation to underside, as made.
