NATIVE AMERICAN NORTHWEST COAST CARVED DIMINUTIVE MASK, a well-defined depiction of a bear with tongue out, hollow back with string holes to edges. Haida culture. Retains its original dry surface with worn black paint. Presented on a custom wood stand. Second half 19th century. 5 1/2" H, 4 1/2" W.

Condition
As-found condition, bottom edge with a loss not visible when on the stand, light age crack from the top of the ear into the eyebrow.
