VIRGINIA COUNTRY SETTEE FASHIONED FROM A PAINTED LOW-POST BED, raised on graceful tapered legs, linen-type upholstery by Marshall Goodman's mother. Posts retain their original dry black-painted surfaces. Circa 1820. 30" HOA, 21 1/2" H seat, 63" x 19".
