Description

Chinese Pale Celadon Jade or Hard Stone Urn with Russet passages; Animal Head, Tongue and integral loose ring handles to neck and side, the front and back with archaistic line carving of interlocking Dragon Profiles, the cover with a well carved resting Fu Lion finial, the inside of cover, urn and high foot all well hollowed. Height with cover 10 inches (25.5 cm.).

Condition

Light age related wear, a tiny flake to tip of 1 Lion tooth, natural inclusions in the stone.
