A VICTORIAN SILVER MUG
by Charles Edwards, London 1867, the bowl with double scroll-form handle, embossed with a figure on horseback and a dog, further embossed with scrolls and flowers, presentation engraving dated 21.9.52. 11.5cm high, 6.6 troy ounces
The marks are clear. The tankard rocks on the foot. The gilded interior is worn. Bruises and surface wear. A good-quality mug.
