A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE ENAMELED PORCELAIN VASES, BEAUTIES WITH POEMS, 20TH CENTURY, glazed porcelain cylinders, each with faint parcel gilt mouths and poems in script over a scene of three beauties in a garden with a child and the other example a beauty walking in the wind, one with red six character over glaze stamp, each height: 11", diameter: 4 3/4". Provenance: Estate of Robert William Guynn, Houston, Texas.
Condition
Heavy rubbing and loss to gilt throughout, some apparent losses and rubbing to enamel decoration, kiln frits with interior soil, with some soil staining to foot, surface scratches, and glaze cracks.
