FERDINANDO VICHI (Italian 1875-1945) A MARBLE SCULPTURE, "Carnivale," LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, signed, "F Vichi," and inscribed, "CARNIVALE," on the white marble stylized groundwork base, height: 26", diameter: 7"; raised on an associated dark serpentine marble plinth, height: 29 1/4", diameter: 10".
Condition
Expected light surface dust buildup throughout, repaired mask, right hands has some fingers partially damaged and is lacking one, right foot top has a hairline crack but does not go through to the bottom.
