Description
7 Andrew Jackson related 19th century lithographic prints, most by Kellogg, and/or Currier. Includes 1 Silhouette print "from life by Wm. H. Brown," Kellogg, 1844, picturing Jackson standing on a hill looking down toward his home, the Hermitage; 1 black and white lithograph of Jackson atop his horse after the Battle of New Orleans by Kellogg; colored lithograph titled GEN. ANDREW JACKSON/THE HERO OF NEW ORLEANS by J. Baillie; two versions of THE DEATH OF GENL. ANDREW JACKSON by N. Currier (horizontal and vertical orientations); posthumous portrait titled ANDREW JACKSON SEVENTH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES by Kellogg, and 1 Harper's Weekly folio print 1887, depicting Nashville area scenes including Jackson's tomb and his home, the Hermitage. Silhouette print is matted to 19 3/4" x 15 1/4". Other prints, unmatted, range from 13 1/4" x 12 7/8" to 22" x 16".

Condition
Silhouette print is in very good condition, professionally cleaned, deacidified, with acid-free matting materials. Black and White lithograph is heavily toned with areas of white discoloration and fading. Other items in overall good condition with minor toning, foxing, minor edge and corner losses.
