President William McKinley was shot by Leon Czolgosz a day after delivering a speech at the Pan-Am Exposition. He died a week later and was succeeded in office by Vice President Theodore Roosevelt. Broadside, Buffalo, New York, 1901. Letterpress printed on paper and mounted on cardboard.
