An antique Victorian English silverplated biscuit box server produced by Fenton Brothers Ltd. (Sheffield, UK). An ornate barrel form biscuit box server with exemplary engraved botanical, feathered, and scrolling repousse designs, and stylized rectangular cartouches for monogram to front and back panels. Box is supported in a cleverly engineered swinging botanical twig design base frame from which the server deploys. The opened box reveals a generous two compartment interior, with each side separated by a pierced grill that clips closed with dual ornate wreath form handles. Stamped to underside F. BRS. S EP with additional marks.
