A French style bouillotte table lamp. An antique style design featuring an elegant trio of encircling scrolling arm brackets with rams head mascots, each terminating in candlestick form fixtures. Central stem with fluted column and pierced basket base, all surmounted by an acorn finial, and supporting a metal artisan crafted shade with encircling relief figural landscape scenes of Chinese scholars at play, botanical and architectural elements, and other forms. Shade having metal attaching mount with elegant arrow fletchette form tightening adjuster. No apparent signature. Original DOYLE AUCTIONEERS (NY) auction tag affixed. Lamp body measures approximately 26" x 9" x 9". Shade with arrow mount measures approximately 8.5" x 15" x 15".
