Bronze Gothic Revival Dragon Curtain Bracket SET

Item Details

Description

A set of four (4) antique bronze architectural holder brackets, produced in the Gothic Revival style, to support a rod, tube, dowel, or bar for the hanging display of curtains, draperies, tapestries, and similar items. Large and heavy gilded bronze bodies modeled as dragons depicted with extended claws, and long serpentine tails surrounded by botanical form decoration. No apparent signature.

Dimensions: 12 X 6 X 5.25 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear, with pitting and evidence of patina and verdigris. Estate fresh to the market.
