Description
After Achille Collas (French, 1794-1859) small presentation bronze bust depicting a young woman with hair pulled back and adorned with flowers, her dress draping her shoulders and her face turned toward her left shoulder. Signed: F. Barbedienne. Fondeur. [Ferdinand Barbedienne] / Reduction Mechanique A Collas Brevete. Presentation inscription, "A Mr. Paquot / Les Sapeurs Pompiers et le Consiel de la Ste. Des Member Honoraires 1901 (To Mr. Paquot/ Firefighters and Council of St. Honorary Members, 1901). 10 3/4"H. French, circa 1901.
