Buffalo Bill Cody autographed photograph in original vintage framed presentation display. Cody has hand-signed this pristine photograph in bold black ink "W.F. Cody / Buffalo Bill / 1904." The photograph measures approximately 7.5 x 11.5" and is housed in a vintage professional frame with a finish size of 13.5 x 18.75". The frame includes protective anti-glare glazing. Affixed to the verso of the frame is an original Charles Hamilton Certification of Authenticity label and Hamilton's original wax seal.
Fine condition. (Not inspected outside of the frame.)
William Frederick Cody (February 26, 1846 – January 10, 1917), known as Buffalo Bill, was an American soldier, bison hunter, and showman. He was born in Le Claire, Iowa Territory (now the U.S. state of Iowa), but he lived for several years in his father's hometown in modern-day Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, before the family returned to the Midwest and settled in the Kansas Territory.
