A late 19th century E. N. Welch model "D" wall hanging Jeweler's Regulator. 8-day time only weight driven movement with Pinwheel escapement, porcelain dial with Roman numerals, sweep seconds, molded Brass bezel and bi-metal compensating pendulum. Victorian Period Black Walnut case in the Eastlake design with hand carved detail features a shaped, scalloped crown with turned finials and carved frieze over a molded cornice and single long door with arched glass shaped frame and applied Burl panels above a tapered drop with applied Burl panel and sawtooth detail. Brass "Waterbury" plaque added to inside of case. Original finish with some wear and minor damage, one finial with base chip, running when cataloged. 91" high overall. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000
