Northern Europe, Scandinavia, Sweden, Neolithic Period, ca. 4000 to 1700 BCE. A set of 4 stone axe heads knapped from flaky stone, 3 from chert and 1 from quartz. The petaloid tools each bear a sharpened edge useful in myriad early utilitarian tasks. Size of largest: 5.375" L x 1.625" W x 0.8" H (13.7 cm x 4.1 cm x 2 cm)
