This is a Apothecary Balance Scale. There's a turned brass center column, brass balance arm, and two brass dishes that are 7-1/4" diameter. Italian marble two-tiered stand with white veining throughout and sits on paw feet. Believed to be from Late 19th Century. Has a chip in the base. Measures 20.5" high x 14" wide.
